The Story of Kolab

As photographers and filmmakers, we relied on our gear every day but the cases out there felt clunky, outdated and dull. Nothing felt like it was actually made for us, so we decided to make something that suited our needs. We wanted a case built for creatives who are always on the move. It had to protect our cameras, lenses, mics and other gear without feeling like a bulky afterthought. It had to be tough, like the best cases out there but also smarter, something that could charge our devices on the go and adapt to different setups. And honestly? It had to look good too. 

So we designed it, tested it on set, took it on the road and refined it with real world feedback from other creatives. The result? A case that works as hard as we do. Kolab isn’t just about making gear cases, it’s about building tools that make our creative journeys easier, better and more inspired.
